Who we are
PDF Catalog ("the app") is developed and operated by Ondokuzon ("we", "us"). The app lets Shopify merchants generate PDF catalogs from the products in their store. This policy explains what data the app processes, why, and for how long. It applies to merchants who install the app; the app has no interface for shoppers.
Information we collect
When you install the app, we receive and store through the Shopify API:
- Basic shop details: your myshopify domain, store name, contact email, currency, and timezone.
- An API access token that allows the app to read your product data. It is stored server-side and never exposed in a browser.
- Product data you choose to include in a catalog: titles, descriptions, prices, SKUs, barcodes, variants, inventory counts, collections, and product image URLs.
- The catalogs you configure in the app (names, descriptions, and design settings) and the PDF files the app generates from them.
We do not collect or store any personal data about your customers. The app never requests access to customer, order, or payment information.
How we use this information
Product and shop data is used for exactly one purpose: building the PDF catalogs you request. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train machine-learning models.
Data retention
- Generated PDF files are deleted automatically 30 days after generation. You can regenerate a catalog at any time.
- Imported product data is replaced on every regeneration and removed when you delete a catalog.
- When you uninstall the app, your shop record, catalogs, imported products, and generated files are deleted.
GDPR and data requests
The app implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. Because we store no customer data, a customer data request returns nothing to disclose and a customer redaction request has nothing to remove. A shop redaction request permanently deletes all data associated with the shop, as described above. You may also contact us directly for any data request.
Where data is stored and how it is protected
All data is stored on servers we operate in a controlled hosting environment. Traffic between your browser, Shopify, and the app is encrypted with TLS. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and the effective date above.
